Consulting
physicians are internal medicine physicians also called hospitalist.
They specialize in the medical needs of orthopaedic patients
to prior to surgery and during a patients stay in the hospital.
The consulting physician will review your medical history,
perform an EKG, draw lab samples and complete a physical examination.
These will also be the physicians who care for the patients
medical needs during their stay in the hospital.

Physician
Assistants work very closely with the surgeons both in the
office and in the operating room. Their advanced training
provides a level of support to the physicians that can make
your Joint Implant Surgeons experience productive and convenient.

The Nursing
staff at Joint Implant Surgeons is a team of dedicated professionals
assisting the physicians in a variety of clinical care roles.
The registered nurse delivers direct nursing care and provides
supervision for assistive care givers. Nursing care is coordinated
and communicated between nurses in at Joint Implant Surgeons
and the hospital. Their attention to patient needs is another
way the physicians of Joint Implant Surgeons are committed
to a patients care.

Physical
Therapists assist patients with pre-surgery and post-surgery
evaluations for range of motion, joint stability and joint
function. They provide patients with hands-on exercises and
techniques to become stronger and recover faster following
joint replacement surgery.
